From the sick house

We've been sick since Thursday. It's this head crud/sinus thing that won't let up. Yesterday we did run some errands but today it's been straight to the couch. Jon got some fancy box from work that he claims is better than our old box and he has to fill out reports on it so now he's on the love seat messing with it and taking notes. I'm paying the bills. What a drag.

We booked our vacation for December. We're going on a cruise and I can't wait. Maybe that is how to make time slow down as an adult....plan something fun almost a year away.

Lazy

It's been a lazy weekend. Jon got a promotion at work this week. It doesn't start until another week though. He was a regular coach but now he's a coach to the advanced teams. I went to the yogurt place (again) and got pina colada and key lime pie and it was delicious. They also brought back nutella flavored. I think I'm going to take a nap. Daylight Savings time really messes with me.

Well

I've been in a horrible mood. I've had headaches for the past week on and off. I didn't do anything this weekend and now I have another headache. I think I need another day off to just sit on the couch and sleep.

Finally!

After having serious problems with Verizon Jon just canceled our internet service. We then had to wait to have Shentel come out. Anyway we finally have service back. Pictures of the house:

One week

One week from today we will own our house. I still can't totally decide on a kitchen color. Oh well. If I paint and it looks awful I'll just repaint. Jon has offered absolutely no opinion on paint colors, would not say what he liked or did not like and said they all looked the same. So I picked them out myself and have had them mostly picked out for weeks now. Then last night he suddenly decided he didn't like the blue. It's too bright. Um, okay. So now I have to find another blue.

We're done!

The repairs are being done to the house and we have a date set. Either January 19th or 20th will be the big day. It seems very surreal right now. I don't think it's really clicked yet that in three weeks I have to start packing all of my stuff and moving it across town.
